Frenchy Cannoli Sieving Bags From The Press Club

This five-bag set came out of a collaboration between The Press Club and the Frenchy Cannoli brand. The bags were made for the Lost Art of the Hashishin workshops and vetted by Madame Cannoli and Frenchy's apprentice, Belle. The set keeps the five screens a traditional sieve actually leans on: 220, 190, 160, 90 and 45 micron. The 220 serves as the work bag. Every bag is all mesh, made from food-grade material and hand-sewn with the maker's pink stitching. The maker rates that stitching at twice the strength of typical wash bags. A military-grade waterproof liner reinforces the rim without flaking. Premium drawstrings with cord locks hold each bag tight on a standard 5 gallon bucket. A mesh carrying case is included for drying and storage. The set is made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Sieving Ice Water Hash the Traditional Way

Fewer grades means a simpler session, which suits the slower, hand-worked style this set was built for. Material and cold water go into the work bag, then the wash passes through the stacked collection bags below. The 190 and 160 screens catch the large, mature heads, while the 90 gathers mid-size resin. The 45 holds the smallest heads and fine particulate. Heads from each grade are spread to dry separately before any decision to press or cure them. Ice water hash made this way keeps its grades distinct, so the cleanest fractions are never blended down with debris. Work in a cold room, keep water near freezing, and lift each bag slowly so the mesh walls drain evenly. Rinse all five bags cold when finished and hang them to dry fully before storage. The honest limit is resolution. Five screens produce broader fractions, so very fine grade-by-grade sorting is not what this set is for. For traditional sieving and pressed hash, those five grades cover the work.
