This coil, model OT1.50-42-350, is a flexible, portable flat manifold built for drip irrigation systems. It stays flat on the coil and takes a round shape once the line is pressurized. The nominal size is 1.5 in, with a 1.595 in nominal inside diameter and a 1.758 in outside diameter. The wall runs 0.073 to 0.088 in, with 0.081 in as the optimum, giving a 42 psi pressure rating. One coil carries 350 ft and weighs about 62 lb on a core 10 in across and 15 in high. Black tube with orange stripes stands out against soil and mulch. Using It as a Water Transfer Line or Drip Submain

As a water transfer line, the tube carries supply from the head of the system to blocks that change from season to season. As a submain, it runs across the head of the beds and feeds dripline laterals placed anywhere along its length. Twist-lock start connectors tie 630 Series and 875 Series thinwall dripperline into the tube with a 0.400 in barb. The 630 Series start connector is also offered with a valve, part T63042440170-B. The 875 Series start connector is part T8756440220-B. Every twist-lock fitting needs an 8 mm hole, made with the PPUNCH8 plastic punch. Unlike vinyl layflat, the tube gives a secure, leak-proof seal with standard industry connectors. Run it straight across the field, keep the operating pressure below the rated figure and drain it before rolling it up. Pallets hold twelve coils for larger plantings. This pressure class carries a seven-year warranty for workmanship and environmental stress cracking.
