Its 3.37 mm nozzle delivers a nominal 2.86 GPM at 33 psi. The 24° trajectory lifts the stream for reach across open field crops and vegetable ground. It also suits cooling fruit orchards and running overhead frost protection. A pair of equal jets turns the rotor, so the head spins in balance without wobble. Drops near the head stay small, which protects freshly seeded soil from washing. The integral filter in the inlet keeps the nozzle clean and lifts out for washing. A pop-up cover shuts out insects and dirt whenever the water is off. UV-protected materials resist sun, weather and the chemicals and fertilizers applied through the system.
