It belongs to the brown 7.9 GPH flow, though the double-pattern head itself is molded in a tan shade. Netafim recommends 7.9 GPH for pots of about 5 to 15 gallons. The bow-tie spray throws water out to both sides, away from the base of the stem. Its downward angle keeps the spray on the soil surface instead of the pot wall. Netafim notes the design nearly eliminates misting even at 60 psi. The check valve feature prevents line drainage onto low plants on grades of up to 10 ft. Turn individual heads off by moving the tube and nipple to the side position. From the aisle, that side position shows clearly which pots are closed.
