The start of a dripline lateral usually meets a threaded fitting on a header, valve or riser. This adapter, Netafim model TL075MA, has a 17 mm barbed insert on one end and a 3/4 in MPT thread on the other. Push the dripline over the barb and thread the other end into a 3/4 in female fitting. The barbed profile holds the tubing securely without clamps, glue or tools. It fits Techline HCVXR, HCVXR-RW and RWP, CV, DL, RW and RWP driplines. Standard PE irrigation hose works too, as long as its inside diameter falls between 0.56 and 0.60 in. The body is molded as one piece for added strength, durability and long-term performance. Its UV resistant material withstands heat, direct sun and harsh chemicals. The design also allows easy on-site inspection to confirm each joint is fitted properly. Each bag holds 25 adapters and weighs about 0.88 lb.

Where a 3/4 Inch MPT Dripline Adapter Fits

The male thread suits a female tee or adapter on a PVC header, a valve outlet or a riser. It also threads into the female branch of a combination tee, which carries two insert ends. The adapter is part of the insert fitting line built for Techline dripline. That line includes insert couplings, elbows, tees and crosses with the same barbed design. A manual flush valve and a figure 8 line end close off the far end of each lateral. Soil staples, 6 in long, hold surface dripline in place between fittings. For checking line pressure, gauges come in 0 to 30 psi and 0 to 100 psi ranges. A Schrader valve with a 1/8 in MPT thread pairs with a gauge needle for spot readings. Push the dripline fully onto the barb before the system is pressurized. For non-Netafim hose, confirm the inside diameter falls inside the stated range first.
