DAB DConnect Box 2 Puts Your Pumps on Your Phone

The DConnect Box 2 is a small wall-mounted gateway that connects DAB electronic pumps to the internet. This version carries part number 60198037 and plugs into a NEMA 6-15P 230V receptacle. Its power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. It joins the site network over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n, WPA/WPA2) or a wired Ethernet cable. One box manages up to 4 compatible DAB products at the same time. For submersible units such as the DTRON3 and ESYBOX DIVER, data travels over the pump's own power cable. That powerline link means no extra control wire has to run down a well or tank. The box also carries 1 voltage-control input and 1 relay output rated 24V, 5A resistive. The enclosure is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in a dry pump room. Compatible pumps include the ESYBOX, ESYBOX Mini 3, ESYBOX DIVER and DTRON3 with current firmware.

Mount the box near the pumps and within solid Wi-Fi coverage, or run a cable to the router for the steadiest link. The relay output can switch an external alarm light or horn on a fault. Remember that remote features depend on a continuous internet connection at the site. Older DAB units may need a firmware update before they appear in the app. The box connects DAB products only, not pumps from other brands.
