Bluelab pH Controller Power Supply, Factory Replacement

A doser that loses power stops correcting pH, and a lost or damaged adapter can halt a whole reservoir. This is Bluelab's own replacement supply, product code PWRSCONTPH, the same unit packed with their 24-volt controllers. It fits the original Bluelab pH Controller (CONTPH) and the pH Controller Connect (CONTPHCON). Bluelab also matches it to the original Pro Controller (CONTPRO). Output is a steady 24 VDC, delivered through a lead that plugs into the PWR socket on the controller base. The input side accepts 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, rated at 5 VA. That wide input range means the same adapter runs on North American, European, British and Australian mains. Four clip-on plug adaptors come in the box, covering Type A, C, G and I outlets. Swap in the adaptor for your region before plugging in. A genuine Bluelab supply avoids the guesswork of matching polarity, voltage and plug size from a generic adapter.

Choosing the Right 24V Power Adapter

Check the controller model before swapping in a replacement, because Bluelab has used more than one supply over the years. The newer pH Controller Wi-Fi and Guardian monitors run on a 5-volt supply instead. Those units need their own adapters, so this one stays with the 24-volt generation. To fit it, clip the correct mains adaptor onto the power unit until it locks. Push the lead fully into the PWR socket, then plug the adapter into a grounded outlet or surge protector. The original pH Controller resumes dosing automatically once power returns, so it picks up where it left off. Route the cable away from drip lines and the reservoir lid, keeping the transformer off wet floors. A drip loop in the cable stops water running down into the outlet. Keep a spare on the shelf if the controller runs an unattended room. It is a small part that keeps pH control running.
