General Hydroponics MaxiBloom for Flowering and Fruiting
Flowering plants shift their demand toward phosphorus and potassium, and a single-bag feed keeps that shift simple. This bloom formula carries a 5-15-14 guaranteed analysis in a water-soluble dry concentrate. Total nitrogen is 5%, available phosphate is 15% and soluble potash is 14%. It also supplies calcium, magnesium, sulfur and micronutrients, so it works as a complete one-part feed. The powder is pH buffered and dissolves fully in fresh water. Use it during the reproductive stage of fast growing annuals and all fruiting and flowering plants. Move plants over from MaxiGro as they transition from vegetative to reproductive growth. It works in hydroponic systems, coco, soilless mixes and soil. Dry concentrate stores compactly and ships without the water weight of a liquid.
Feeding a Dry Bloom Nutrient by Rate and EC
A dry bloom nutrient gives precise control because every dose is weighed or measured. The label rate is one to two teaspoons per gallon of fresh water, about five to ten grams per four liters. Use mild strength for delicate plants and full strength for vigorous ones. The Maxi Series feed chart gives three bloom levels by irrigation style. Aggressive feeding uses 5.5 g/gal for an EC of 2.2 to 2.6. Medium feeding uses 4.4 g/gal for an EC of 1.6 to 1.9. Light feeding uses 3.9 g/gal for an EC of 1.4 to 1.7, suited to frequent irrigation and small containers. Dissolve the powder completely, then check and adjust pH and EC before feeding. In soil, feed once or twice a week with plain water between applications. In hydroponics, change the reservoir weekly. Reduce strength under strong light, heat or low humidity, and watch for tip burn or very dark leaves.
