DosaKlean Cleanser Soak for Dosatron Injector Maintenance

Scale builds inside a proportional injector long before the dose drifts far enough to notice. DosaKlean is the answer to that: a water-soluble concentrate sold in .187 lb packets, made to dissolve rust, calcification and mineral deposits from injector parts. The blend combines descaling compounds, surfactants, and natural and artificial ingredients. The soak itself takes very little effort. Take the injector apart and rinse every part in clean water to clear any chemical residue. Dissolve one packet in 1 gallon of water, one packet per injector, and soak the parts for 24 to 48 hours. Larger injectors take two packets in 2 gallons. Pull the parts, rinse them thoroughly with clean water, and reassemble. There is no scrubbing step. While it cleans, the solution also lubricates the internal seals and moving components, so the piston and motor go back together moving freely.

A Fertilizer Injector Cleaner That Belongs in the Service Routine

Most growers pair the soak with the seal change, since the injector is already in pieces on the bench. That turns a scale problem into a routine job instead of a dead motor halfway through a feed cycle. Calcium nitrate, hard well water and acid injection all leave deposits, so stations running those tend to need it more often. The formula is safe on both plastic and stainless steel injectors. Use it on its own and do not mix it with other products. Store unopened packets in a cool, dry place between service days. The real trade-off is downtime. A full soak takes the injector out of service for a day or two. A spare unit or a planned plain-water day keeps crops on schedule. Rinse thoroughly before reassembly, since residue left on the parts ends up in the first tank of feed. As a fertilizer injector cleaner it is maintenance, not a repair: worn seals still need replacing.

Key Features

  • Water-soluble concentrate: Dissolves in plain water, so there is nothing to measure beyond one packet per gallon.
  • Removes rust and scale: Lifts rust, calcification and mineral deposits from injector parts without scrubbing.
  • Lubricates as it cleans: Treats interior seals and moving components during the same soak, so parts reassemble smoothly.
  • Safe on injector materials: Cleans plastic and stainless steel injector parts without harming either.
  • Pre-measured packets: Each .187 lb packet treats one injector, and larger units take two packets in two gallons.
